Baby's breath
A flower you constantly see in bouquets is baby's breath. This is a plant with lots of white flowers.
The latin name for the plant is gypsophila. There are several species of this plant, but the one that is often used in floral arrangements is called gypsophilla paniculata.
It is very common to use this plant alongside other flowers, but it can be very nice by itself as well. The thin branches and small flowers creates a delicate effect that suits weddings. If you like this plant, and are looking for ways to use it, you can have a look at the slideshow at Elizabeth Anne Designs. This slideshows you 15 different ways to use Baby's breath.
If you are doing the flowers yourself, it is possible to grow your own baby's breath. It is a nice, perennial flower to have in your garden. It is a typical summer flower. In Norway it is in bloom from June until August. If this something you wish to do, you can read more about how to grow your own baby's breath you can read more about it on the website of The National Gardening Association.

Run, run, run ...
Once we got engaged, I decided that I didn't want to seem to eager to get married. Therefore, I waited a week and a half before I started planning the wedding. This might not seem like much, but for a planner and a control freak like me, this was exhausting. My mind kept on racing, thinking about ideas, but I managed to keep my mouth shut.
Well, that isn't completely true. Just after the proposal, I asked when we would get married and we immediately agreed on a month and a year. However, our "month" was only 14 months away. My fiance thought we had lots of time, but I knew that many people start planning their big day years in advance. After calling around to find a church and a venue for the reception, I got the feeling that I was in a race against all the other brides. Have you ever gotten that feeling? Every time someone told me that they were booked, I felt like I was falling behind. However, after sending dousins of e-mails, we found a venue we love. Although we have booked a Church and a venue noe, I still feel like I'm in a race.

OMG! I am engaged!
So, it
finally happened. During a holiday, my boyfriend of 4,5 years proposed to me. I
haven’t been waiting for it THAT long. However, once we had been together for 3
years I must admit I started wondering whether he would ever ask me to marry
him. I never thought it was that important to me, but suddenly one day, I
really cared. Marriage, or no marriage, I have never doubted that he loves me.
However, I do care that we can finally start planning our weeding. I say “we”, but usually it’s me
who care about the tiny details. Nonetheless he listens to me talking about
these details for days. He gets credit for that.
